Lu Dlamini to perform at the Centre for Jazz

The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music at the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Howard College campus is hosting a concert by Durban vocalist, Lu Dlamini, on Wednesday, March 16 at 6 pm.

 

This gig is a prelude to Lu Dlamini’s 11-track debut album Ulimi lami that is due for release in 2016. Lu will perform songs from the album which she describes “world music”. Continue reading

THE authors headed to Durban of the 19th edition of Time of the Writer have been revealed by the Centre for Creative Arts t the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN).

Ten writers from South Africa and Africa will meet for a week of stimulating literary dialogue and exchange of ideas. ONE of the greatest elements of pantomime is the tradition of the pantomime dame, played by a male actor in fabulous costume.
