Get your funnybone well and truly tickled at Durban Comedy Week

This month’s Durban Comedy Week, which runs until September 2, will feature the talents both Cape Town and Johannesburg funnymen – Loyiso Madinga, Westley Cockrell and Stuart Cairns.

They will be joined by local comedians, Jem Atkins and Neil Green, for the gigs hosted by On Fire Comedy.

Shared History is celebrating a decade of cultural links between SA and India

For theatre-lovers, well-known playwright Mahesh Dattani’s Dance like a Man will be presented at The Fringe at Joburg Theatre on Sunday, September 4 at 7pm, for one performance only.

 

 

The Shared History Festival is celebrating its milestone 10th year of the Indian Experience in South Africa from August 30 to September 10. The festival continues the centuries-old narrative of historical and cultural ties between South Africa and India. Continue reading
