BEAUTIFUL music takes, performed by world class musicians, will take centre stage when the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra performs in the Pietermaritzburg City Hall on Friday, March 24 at 7.30 pm.

Presented by the KZN Philharmonic, in association with Christopher Duigan’s Music Revival and Parklane SuperSpar, the annual Symphony in the City, will feature solo performances by three of the orchestra’s most outstanding young musicians: Aristide du Plessis (cello), Junnan Sun (clarinet) and Fifi Olifant (violin). CELEBRATED violinist, Joanna Frankel, is looking forward to performing Beethoven’s Violin Sonata in A Op.47 ‘ Kreutzer’ at this year’s Hilton Arts Festival, writes TheLuvvie.com’s Estelle Sinkins.
