
The KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra.
THE KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing the concert, Frank Sinatra and Friends, in the Grindrod Bank Theatre at the Hilton Arts Festival at 12.30pm on Saturday, September 17.
Conducted by Richard Cock, and featuring soloist, Nicholas Nicolaidis, the concert is part of series created by Richard Cock, which includes Louis Armstrong & Friends, Lloyd Webber and friends, and Cole Porter and Friends.
Enjoy the songs made famous by Frank Sinatra with music written by Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Nat King Cole, Jerome Kern, Paul Anka and others. This concert promises a programme of great music, including Fly me to the Moon, I’ve got you under my skin, Unforgettable and of course, My Way.

The KZN Philharmonic and Richard Cock will also be presenting Peter and the Wolf and other music for children under 95 in the Chapel at Hilton College at 2.30pm on Saturday, September 17.
The concert features an introduction to the orchestra and a performance of the delightful story of Peter and the Wolf (or Pieter and the Horrible Hyena!!) by Prokofiev. This long-time favourite tale is narrated and, since it’s suitable to all ages, gather up your family and come and join in the fun.
