Midlands diva, Cat Simoni, set to rock the Rhumbelow

Cat rock direct HR (Custom)DURBAN’S Rhumbelow Theatre at 42 Cunningham Road, off Bartle Road, Umbilo, will be hosting Midlands diva, Cat Simoni, in Cat Rocks at 8 pm on Friday, April 29 and Satrurday, April 30 and at 2 pm on Sunday, May 1. There will also be shows at 8 pm on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 and 6.30 pm on Sunday, May 8.

Cat’s golden voice and virtuoso piano skills will be performing her all-time favourite rock classics. With a hot mix of Cream, Pink Floyd, Procul Harem, Queen and her personal favourites, Cat has a total ball as she explores the rarefied atmosphere of rock’s iconic megahits; from Led Zeppelin’s Stairway to Heaven and Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here and The Wall to Freddie Mercury’s Bohemian Rhapsody, The Beatles’ Day In The Life, The Eagles’ Hotel California and Marc Cohn’s Walking in Memphis.

Fans can also expect surprises like Billy Joel, Carly Simon, Eric Clapton, a dash of Def Leppard and Heart – and a touch of the Transylvanian Rocky Horror when Cat rocks the party!

After ten years singing for the international crème de la crème at the Steinways of London’s five-star venues and exclusive clubs; The Ritz, Carlton, Dorchester, Mayfair & Berkeley Square Casino; Cat Simoni is back home and delighted to be entertaining South African audiences.

Tickets for Cat Rocks, devised and directed by Paul Spence, are R140 at Computicket. Bring food picnic baskets, but no drinks – there is cash bar. The venue opens 90 minutes before the show. Booking is essential.
