The International Arts Foundation Inc. of New Orleans in the United States, in association with Durban’s Playhouse Company, presenting the acclaimed stage drama, We Live Here, by the award-winning American playwright, Harold Ellis Clark.

The powerfully written work, will be staged in The Playhouse Drama Theatre from 5 to 7 May. It marks an ongoing sister-city cultural exchange between New Orleans and Durban, which aims to bridge communication and understanding between the two cities. Continue reading

MTV’s White People is a ground-breaking documentary on race that aims to answer that question from the viewpoint of young white people living in America. The concert will feature the Zvirmudeze Mbira Ensemble from Zimbabwe, under direction of Dr. Perminus Matiure, the Durban-based Salim Washington Ensemble (United States/South Africa) and Jo Kunnuji from Nigeria.
