POPULAR Cape Town-based guitarist, James Grace, will be performing in three Music Revival concerts in Kloof and Pietermaritzburg this month.
Grace, who recently performed with the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra in Kirstenbosch to more than 7 000 people, will join forces with pianist, Christopher Duigan, for the recitals at the Tatham Art Gallery at 3 pm on Sunday, February 19, Casa Mexicana at 35 Montgomery Road on Tuesday, February 21 and at St Agnes Church in Kloof on Thursday, February 23. Botha, who will be conducting the boys when they take to the stage of the Pietermaritzburg City Hall for Music Revival’s Christmas concert on Tuesday, November 29, says the feeling of ‘shaping the music with the movement of your arms is nothing short of magical. It is probably as close as we earth-dwellers will ever come to experiencing flight.’
