JOEY Rasdien and Alfred Adriaan will be headlining Durban Comedy Week, from July 27 to 31.

The event, which is being hosted by On Fire Comedy, will also feature well-known Durban comics, Jem Atkins, Neil Green, Masood Boomgaard, Neville Pillay and Kelvin Stoffels.

Comedy Central flies SA comedy flag at Canada’s Just For Laughs Festival

Popular South African comedians Robbie Collins and David Kau will be flying the flag for South African comedy when they perform at the biggest comedy festival in the world: the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, Canada until August 1.

The two comedians are joining Comedy Central (DStv channel 122) on the channel’s annual pilgrimage to Canada where they’ll be showcasing South African comedy at the world famous event. Continue reading

ARTISTIC excellence was celebrated at the National Arts Festival on Sunday morning (July 10) when the winners of the 2016 Standard Bank Ovation Awards were revealed at a ceremony which also honoured outgoing National Arts Festival artistic director, Ismail Mahomed.

THE time has come for Dusty Rich to say goodbye to his home country as he moves to Australia to kickstart his international comedy career – but not before going back to where it all started and treating his Durban fans to one last epic comedy showdown.
