DURBAN musical theatre star Anthony Stonier is performing in his 20th adult pantomime over the festive season.
He plays the title role in Dracula, which is being staged at Club Altitude in Silver Avenue, Stamford Hill, until January 20.
Said writer and director Thomie Holtzhausen: “Anthony is ready to suck you dry with laughter as Count(ess) Dracula.
“We guarantee every fe(male) will swoon over his legs and be willing, not only to be courted by his melodic voice, but to die for his bite!”
Holtzhausen, who is celebrating a decade with the adult panto team, and Stonier, will be joined by Jaziel Vaughánn, KerryLee McKibben and Pietermaritzburg’s Mpilo Nzimande.
“Gather your friends, family, colleagues and cronies for a fabulous evening of lighthearted entertainment before partying the night away at the venue, which transforms before your very eyes into a dance floor,” said Holtzhausen.
Patrons are encouraged to take along a picnic basket but no drinks. There is a cash bar at the venue.
Show times are Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30 pm. Tickets R140 at http://www.quicket.co.za.
Tables seat eight and there are only 10 tables in the venue. To book as a group, contact Ailsa of GoingPlacesSA at 071 820 5617 or email email@example.com
