Learn more about the ceramics collection at the Tatham Art Gallery

THE Tatham Art Gallery will be hosting the first of a two-part walkabout, titled ‘Early South African Studio Ceramics’, at 2.30 pm on Friday, August 4.

The second part will look at the historical context of the works on Friday, August 18.

Lead by Kobie Venter, these events are part of a series being planned by the gallery in Chief Albert Luthuli Street, Pietermaritzburg.  Also on the cards is a talk on Rorke’s Drift Ceramics by Prof Ian Calder on Saturday, September 2 at 11 am.

Admission is free and parking will be available in front of the gallery and in the garden on the Church Street side of the gallery. For more information email Kobie.venter@msunduzi.gov.za or phone 033 3922 819. Groups need to contact Kobie Venter as space is limited.
