THE Tatham Art Gallery will be hosting the first of a two-part walkabout, titled ‘Early South African Studio Ceramics’, at 2.30 pm on Friday, August 4.
The second part will look at the historical context of the works on Friday, August 18.
Lead by Kobie Venter, these events are part of a series being planned by the gallery in Chief Albert Luthuli Street, Pietermaritzburg. Also on the cards is a talk on Rorke’s Drift Ceramics by Prof Ian Calder on Saturday, September 2 at 11 am.
