THE Rhumbelow Theatre at the Allan Wilson Shellhole, 5 Durban Road, Pietermaritzburg will be home to Danny Fisher for two shows only at 2 pm and 6.30 pm on Sunday, July 23.

Direct from his season on the MSC Sinfonia and his international tour of The Voice in Scotland and Ireland, Fisher will take theatre-goers through his musical career and real life stories, giving them an extraordinary insight into his life as a “Oone of a kind” entertainer.

Known for his comedic antics, big personality and even bigger voice, Fisher was the lead singer for the Blarney Bros for eight years and then spent time on the popular Barnyard Theatre Circuit with the production Your Mamma Don’t Dance.

He also has the ability to do impressions of famous stars of stage and screen. In one evening you will see and hear him impersonate the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, Roy Orbison, Tom Jones, Meatloaf, Willie Nelson, Julio Eglesias, Bob Dylan, Benny Hill and even the great Nelson Mandela himself.

Tickets are R150 (R130 pensioners) at Computicket. The shows are supper theatre style, so bring food but no drinks. There is a cash bar.
