SPOIL your mom this Mother’s Day, while enjoying two of our region’s priceless resources, the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra and Durban’s magnificent Botanic Gardens.
At 2 pm on Sunday, May 8, Old Mutual Music at the Lake proudly presents the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra featuring Arno Carstens and special guest Chloe Clark, with a bouquet of live music-making in the magical setting of Durban’s Botanic Gardens.
Arno Carstens of Springbok Nude Girls fame, will be performing hits like Emergency, Another Universe, Blue Eyes and Hole Heart, and Chloe Clark, who featured until recently in Team Khan on The Voice SA, will sing L-O-V-E, Doo Bee Doo, and other hits.
The KZN Philharmonic ,under the baton of Maestro Lykele Temmingh, will accompany Arno and Chloe, and will also play some highlights its forthcoming season, including Shostakovich’s spectacular Festive Overture and a short movement from Beethoven’s 8th Symphony.

Tickets are R140 (presold) or R160 at the gate on the day (children eight to 12 years pay R60 and under eights enter for free). Tickets are available online at http://www.webtickets.co.za, or at the Information Office at the Gardens.
Gates open at 1 pm for presold ticket holders, and at 1.30 pm for on-the-day sales. The concert starts at 2 pm.
Children are welcome to enjoy some fun nd games at Kidzone. A variety of food and soft refreshments will be available to purchase. Picnic blankets, camp chairs, cooler boxes are allowed.
