THE official launch of the national tour of The Melvin Peters Quartet takes place at the Msunduzi Museum, Voortrekker Complex, 351 Langalibalele Street in Pietermaritzburg on Friday, April 15. Doors open at 7 pm.
Come and enjoy South Africa’s finest musos, playing their unique blend of African & Dave Brubeck inspired jazz, before they set off on their nationwide tour.
The group consists of Melvin Peters on piano, Ildo Nandja on double-bass, Jeff Robinson on sax and Bruce Baker on drums.
