The village of Wakkerstroom will host an Arts and Crafts Ramble on July 11 and 12.
Local and national artists will be showing and selling their works in their own homes, and several galleries in town will be open for you to visit. Artists encompass a range of skills from glass art, to painters and other hand-crafts.
Maps of locations will be available at the Crow’s Nest Information Centre in Badenhorst Street.
Restaurants and coffee-houses will be open to ensure you can purchase a wide variety of refreshments. Please use www.wakkerstroom.co.za to find accommodation.
The village is three hours drive from Gauteng and five hours from Durban, and is in the Drakensberg.
On Saturday, July 11 artists will be at their studios from 10 am until 3 pm and on Sunday, July 12 from 10 am until 12 noon.
