On Tuesday, October 6, the Maritzburg Musicians Club (MMC) will play host to the legendary Steve Fataar, who will be performing a set with local and touring muso friends from Pietermaritzburg and Durban. They will include his son Dane Stops and Graham Ellis, who has been performing in and around Durban.
Music lovers are in for a treat in September when golden oldies from the 60s and 70s will be revived in The Battle of the Bands at Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre. Featuring live music backing by band Track and music legend, Steve Fataar, The Battle of the Bands will take the audience on a nostalgic, magical musical journey celebrating bands, artists and music of that golden era. Keith Bodsworth
Durban musician, Keith Bodsworth, is in hospital undergoing treatment for cancer. In an effort to assist Keith with medical expenses, renowned singer/guitarist, Steve Fataar, and stalwart supporter of local live music, Diana du Plooy, have arranged a show featuring some of Durban’s well-known musicians.
