If you’re planning to visit the Hilton Arts Festival – which runs from September 16 to September 18 at Hilton College – then make sure you pencil in a date with the wonderful Pietermaritzburg City Orchestra.
These talented musicians will be playing at 11 am and 1 pm on Sunday, September 18 in the Amphitheatre.
Classical music fans can look forward to hearing well-known pieces like Strauss’ Radetsky March and music from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, as well as popular tunes from musicals including Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s Evita and the television hit, Game of Thrones.
Admission to the concerts is free.

He will be performing in his one-man memoir, The Echo of Noise, at 6 pm on Friday, September 16 in the Grindrod Bank Theatre at Hilton College.
