André Rieu returns to the big screen with his spectacular 2016 concert

Andre Rieu, affectionately known as the ‘King of Waltz’, is one of the world’s most popular music artists, renowned for staging spectacular concerts filled with beautiful music, glittering ballgowns and amazing lighting and fireworks.

The 2016 Maastricht Concert from Vrijthof, one of the most beautiful squares in Holland, is no exception.

South African fans will be delighted that this year’s surprise-filled concert will be broadcast on the big screen at Cinema Nouveau theatres at the Rosebank Mall in Johannesburg, Brooklyn Mall in Pretoria, Gateway in Durban and V&A Waterfront in Cape Town on October 15 at 7.45pm and October 16 at 2.30pm.  Continue reading

Celebrate Marine Week at uShaka Marine World

It’s National Marine Week and what better way to celebrate the oceans and coastal environment than by visiting uShaka Sea World in Durban and enjoying close encounters with over 400 different species of marine creatures.

A one hour tour of the aquarium, starting at 2pm has been specially designed for visitors during National Marine Week.

The informal tour which is aimed at the whole family will take you on a journey of fun and discovery through the aquarium getting to know more about the animals and their unique and often comical characteristics.

SA actor, Sean Cameron Michael, stars in M-Net Edge’s ‘Of Kings and Prophets’

South African actor, Sean Cameron Michael, last seen on SA screens in the hit TV series Black Sails on DStv’s History channel, has again nabbed a role in a major American series.

He can be seen in Of Kings and Prophets, currently on M-Net Edge, a biblical drama that centres around a battle-weary king, a powerful and resentful prophet, and a resourceful young shepherd.    Continue reading

New book celebrates 30 years of the L’Atelier art competition
