ALLIANCE Française of Durban presents the fabulous, free fifth annual Francofête on Human Rights Day which takes place under the trees in Sutton Park in Durban’s Morningside on Monday, March 21.
There will be a day time family event from 10 am to 4 pm and an evening sundowner music concert featuring fabulous francophone world music, from 4.30 pm to 9.30 pm which culminates with a fab set by jazz icon, guitarist and vocalist Louis Mhlanga and Madagascar accordion player Regis Gizavo.
The ever proactive Alliance Française uses this annual opportunity to showcase some of the best French; Francophone and French-inspired music; dance; theatre; storytelling; workshops; visual arts; exhibitions … and of course wonderful food and crafts in the alfresco market.
