Magic, mentalism and stand-up comedy collide in the new stage show, Masood and Marvellous Mentalist at Sibaya casino and Entertainment Kingdom this weekend.
The show, which stars mentalist and “hypnogician” Troye (above left) and comedian Masood Boomgaard (above right), takes place at Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre on 3, 4 and 5 March.
Troye has been dazzling audiences for over 15 years, specialising in stage mentalism. He is also the only hypnogician in South Africa, using a blend of comedy and charm, creating impressive fests of mind reading, telekinesis, hypnosis and future prediction. Within seconds he captivates his audience and sends them on a journey of fascination and wonder.
Expect to be wowed by this disciple of the legendary Jimmy Ritchie as he takes the audience through the wonderful world of magic and mentalism.
Joining Troye is Durban-based Masood who frequently collaborates with the biggest names in the comedy industry on stages across the country. He is also known to work with artists outside of the comic sphere, often including music and magic as part of his shows.
Showtimes are: 8pm on 3 March and 4 March and 3pm on 5 March. Tickets are R120 from Computicket, Shoprite/Checkers or the Sibaya Box Office.
