South African entertainer, actor, singer, musician, writer, director and television presenter, Ian von Memerty, will be performing a one-off charity show, A Handful of Highlights, at St Agnes Church, Auditorium, 53 Abelia Road, Kloof at 7pm on Monday, March 6.

Tickets are R120 at Computicket and money will go to the Youth Education Support Trust. Secure parking is available.

Von Memerty conceptualised and has performed in the two-man piano show A Handful of Keys. Other stage credits include The Rocky Horror Show, Umoja, Fiela’s Child, Grease, Six of the Best, Crazy for You, Captain Entertainment, Big Band Blast, Femme Fatale and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Through financial aid and mentorship, the Youth Education Support Trust aims to create a family, where support, comfort and hope is given to young adults. Since 1997 they have been able to provide funding for the tertiary education of a multitude of students.

The Yes Trust also fund a small apartment in Pinetown, known as COT House, where six selected students can live in a safe and stable environment while they further their tertiary studies.
