TO celebrate 10 years of comedy, Durban-based comedian Carvin H Goldstone will be staging his Best of Carvin H Goldstone Encore Show at Krakatoa, Sibaya Casino, at 6pm from December 21 to 23 December.

The Best of Carvin H Goldstone tour is the culmination of 10 years of dedication to his craft – 10 years without swearing on stage or talking dirty, but still managing to be one of the funniest people in South Africa.

In July 2006, an unknown Goldstone walked onto the stage of Sibiya’s iZulu Theatre and delivered his first ever comedy set as a contestant in the Madras Masala Comedy competition. After three intense days of competition, he was announced as the winner with landslide votes from the audience.

A decade later, he is a household name and arguably the most successful Durban-based stand up comedian.

Three sold out one man shows, since 2011, international tours and multiple awards has earned Goldstone respect across South Africa’s comedy community.

His rise to the top was rubber stamped this year when he was selected as the headline act at the Kings and Queens of Comedy Port Elizabeth in a line-up that included Loyiso Gola, Stuart Taylor, Chester Missing and Jason Goliath.

Tickets can be booked at Computicket. No children under 18 will be allowed into the venue. With no swearing or sexual references the show is designed for the whole family but parental guidance is advised.
