Mark Mulder and Annie Robinson star in Tarty Flowers!, directed by Paul Spence, at 7pm on October 20 and 22 in the Centenary Centre at Michaelhouse in Balgowan.
There’s only one Fawlty Towers – and there’s no other married couple quite like Basil and Sybil! The BBC television sitcom from the 1970s, voted the best British TV series of all time, has fans all over the world, including gifted comedienne and actress, Annie, and actor, Mark.
These confirmed Fawlty fans now have the chance to share their affection for the show in the two-hander, Tarty Flowers! It offers pure, delicious fun from first word to last.
The much put-upon Basil, bossy Sybil, eccentric waiter Manuel and pretty Polly are all there – and the audience suddenly get the distinct feeling that they are guests in the dining room of the infamous Torquay hotel!
Tarty Flowers! Is a comedy in two acts. Running time is 85 minutes, including a 15 minute interval. Tickets for the picnic style evening are R120. To book email Angela Jonsson at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 033 234 1314 (weekdays between 8am and 1pm).
