AWARD-winning actress and director, Clare Mortimer, helms the new comedy, Party Poopers, at the Seabrooke’s Theatre at Durban High School from September 29 to October 9.

The show, presented by Sibling Rivalry Productions, stars Stephanie and Timothy Jenkins as Alice and Ethan, who have very different ideas about celebrating Alice’s 21st birthday bash.

Alice imagines a lifestyle magazine, sound and light extravaganza, a diva pleasure palace and a final “take that” to a 21-year-old vendetta. Meanwhile, party planner Ethan has sock puppets, bifocals  and some dodgy underwear.

Can the two of them pull off the Bluff Party of all Time – well, how long is a paper chain? Throw in a microwave cake, a vegan jock, a trio of geriatrics, a hustler and a ticking clock into the batter and see what it bakes!
