MUSIC Revival starts a new season of intimate soirees in 2016 with a selection of up-beat ragtime at 7.30 pm on Friday, February 12 and 3.30 pm Sunday, February 14.

The Entertainer: A programme of popular ragtime with Christopher Duigan (piano),  Scott Joplin’s The Easy Winners, Ragtime Dance, Solace: A Mexican Serenade and The Entertainer (also known as the theme tune to The Sting).

In addition Duigan plays rags by James Scott and Joseph Lamb including Frogs Legs Rag, Kitten On the Keys and Gershwin’s I Got Rhythm and Someone to Watch Over Me.

Both concerts will take place in Duigan’s home studio  at 35 Montgomery Drive in Athlone, Pietermaritzburg.
