ENJOY a traditional Christmas gathering with carols, words and song at two Midlands venues

Carols for Christmas with Richard Cock will be staged at the Church of the Ascension in Hilton at 7.30 pm on Friday, December 11 and at Amber Valley in Howick on Wednesday, December 9. Please note, the Howick concert is for Amber Valley residents and their guests only.

South African music maestro Richard Cock has become known as ‘Mr Music’ through his generous and friendly manner of bringing people together, uplifting spirits through the joy of music.  In this concert he will act as the host and lead the audience in singing favourite Carols, present readings, both sacred and secular, and will also sing his favourite popular Christmas songs and to raise the roof  in the singing of carols.

Additional musical delights will be provided by Maritzburg pianist, Christopher Duigan, celebrated organist, Christopher Cockburn, and one of South Africa’s taste rising stars on the musical horizon, Cape Town  tenor , Lukhanyo Moyake,  who sings O Holy Night and other religious material.

Tickets for Carols for Christmas with Richard Cock are R120 which includes refreshments at interval.

Carols for Christmas will also be staged at St Agnes Church in Kloof at 7.30 pm on Thursday, December 10.  Tickets are R120 which includes refreshments at interval.  Booking is with St Agnes Church at 031 764 2037 or via email at booking@musicrevival.co.za  Secure parking  will be available.
