MARITZBURG College, in collaboration with Wildlands Conversation Trust and the film’s producers, is hosting a screening of the internationally acclaimed documentary, Blood Lions, which exposes the canned lion hunting industry in South Africa. The screening will take place at 5.30 pm on Ocrober 19 in the Alan Paton Memorial Hall.
There will also be a screening of the doccie on Thursday, October 15 at 6.30 pm at Ster-Kinekor, Musgrave, Durban. Continue reading
Blood Lions focuses attention on canned lion hunting in SA.
The producers of the documentary feature film Blood Lions, Wildlands and Regulus Vision, have secured both local and global distribution for the film. PBS International have picked up the global rights to the film, and will be distributing the film worldwide, outside of South Africa. Indigenous Film Distribution will handle the South African rights. Continue reading
