Head to the Playhouse for great music and dance
THE Playhouse in Durban is hosting its Test Driving The Arts series in December.
The initiative provides up-and-coming artists with a platform for public performance. The performances are free to the public, and take place over lunchtimes just outside the Playhouse doors.
On December 15 from 12 noon to 2 pm catch Amatholamnyama – Ingoma Yezinsizwa; Champions – Amapansula; King – country music; and Fusion Musique (African vocals).
The Playhouse is also hosting Sundowner concerts on December 11 and 18 from 5 pm to 7 pm in the coffee shop. Thobeka Langa will perform on December 11 and 5th Season on December 18. Admission is free.
