NEWTOWN has it all; music, art performance and fashion, come and see it showcased at the first Hypnotic Friday held at Newtown Junction on Friday, March 11.
Hypnotic Friday brings both emerging and established artists together in a programme that not only celebrates the city’s cultural uniqueness, but also offers a platform and much-needed exposure for new talent ranging from live hip hop, poetry and dance performances, to visual arts and fashion, and an open mic.

It also invites different artists to come together to perform or showcase their work, and interact one another, advising, inspiring and growing the creative industries.

At the heart of Newtown precinct, Newtown Junction offers an outstanding shopping experience, a wide array of restaurants, catering to all tastes, a Ster Kinekor movie house and secure parking.

Newtown Junction will be hosting Hypnotic Fridays on a monthly basis and invites the public to come and be inspired and entertained. The event runs from 4.30pm to 7.45pm in the Newtown Junction piazza.
