Don’t miss the screening of Unearthed tonight

unnamed
Unearthed, a groundbreaking, award-winning, independent South African documentary, will be screened at 6 pm for 6.30 pm on Wednesday, February 17 at Tanglewood Country House.

In the film a  young South African, Jolynn Minnaar, swallows her optimism on fracking in her Karoo hometown after a mysterious phone call from the United States leads her to uncover the hidden truths of the gas industry.

Unearthed challenges the assertion that hydraulic fracturing is a safe, time-tested technology and questions whether shale gas is the solution for our energy-hungry world.

Entry is a R20 donation to Frack Free SA. There is a soup supper for R60 – book on 083 645 5619.

Did you miss all the familiar faces on Carte Blanche on Sunday?  You can watch their programme on KZN fracking here:  http://carteblanche.dstv.com/player/996374/
