A feast of authentic Durban-style comedy has been cooked up and is set to be served on comedy fans at the first ever Mixed Masala Comedy festival at Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre over the weekend of 22 and 23 January.
Infused with outrageous, locally-flavoured humour, the show features some of Durbans best white, black, Indian, Muslim and coloured comedians on one stage to deliver a truly multicultural comedy show which has never been seen before.
Amongst the comedians on the bill are Neville Pillay, Masood Boomgaard, Kuda, Mo Vawda, Liam E and Rory Petzer. They will regale hilarious stories of life in Durban from their own unique perspectives.
The two hour comedy festival takes place at 20h00 on Friday, 22 January and Saturday, 23 January 2016. Tickets to the show are available at Computicket and the Sibaya Box office at R120 per person. The show carries an age restriction of 16 years.
