Howick Art Society exhibition, (Harts) is currently hosting a second art exhibition at the Greendale Acres Centre in Howick until November 28.

This latest exhibition follows the successful event held in October during which a total of 27 paintings were sold. Greeting cards featuring prints of the artists works, coasters, place mats, fridge magnets and miniatures on easels also proved to be good sellers.

There is a very diverse range of artwork produced by Harts artists due to the large membership of 94 painters, so all potential buyers’ tastes are catered for.

Directions to Greendale Acres: those who live in Pietermaritzburg or further afield must take the last off-ramp to Howick on the way to Gauteng (which is the Tweedie off-ramp), turn right and it is the first shopping centre on the left before you reach the robot.

Harts artists on duty will be happy to discuss the works on exhibit with prospective buyers.

A third exhibition is planned for December and will take place in the shop next door to Hides of Africa on the road that leads to the Falls. This will take place from December 1 until December 16. This is sure to attract Christmas shoppers as well as tourists who will be after mementos to take home.
