Tim Plewman brings his popular Defending the Caveman to the refurbished Victory Theatre until December 24.

Straight from his appearance at the 41st National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, where audiences applauded this comedian, Plewman decided to bring this humorous, longest-running and most successful solo comedy in South African theatre history, to Johannesburg.

After his run in Cape Town, Beverley Brommert’s review of Defending the Caveman in The Star’s Tonight section highlights how Plewman has managed to adapt content for the South African audience.

Plewman introduces “topical references and current South African slang”, which plays an integral part in making the script modern. However, the script still manages to tackle gender-based behavioural differences and hold the relevance of Rob Becker’s original ideas.

South Africans who haven’t seen Defending the Caveman can still join Tim Plewman as he takes on his last season for 2015, in this spectacular and insightful comedy explaining how and why women and men see life so differently.

If you have never seen this show, now is your time buy tickets for your family as a Christmas present and see Plewman’s latest version of Defending the Caveman.
