HARTS (the Howick Arts Society) is hosting an art exhibition at the Greendale Centre in Howick until noon on October 31.
Many local artists are members of Harts and their exhibitions never fail to delight visitors with the wide variety of subject matter, techniques and styles.

Works in mounts and framed paintings will be sold. Also on sale will be a variety of blank greeting cards featuring prints of art works which can be adapted to suit any occasion.

The exhibition will be manned by Harts members and if a newcomer to the Midlands would like to find out more about joining the society, simply visit the exhibit and get more details.

Members attend a monthly meeting, enjoy interesting talks and art courses. They can take in paintings for crits if they wish, put artworks on exhibitions and enjoy the camaraderie and interaction with other artists in the area. Beginners, established artists and visitors are welcome.

Harts members have donated works to the Tatham Art Gallery for the Fabulous Picture Show, which opens on November 15 at 11 am and continues from November 17 until November 20, when there will be an open auction of the works at 6 pm.

Harts member W.P. van Heerden will be have a solo exhibition at the Tatham Art Gallery until December 6.
