Bryan Hiles and Adam Dore feature in the charming holiday time children’s story, A Froggy Fairytale at the Rhumbelow Theatre in Umbilo from October 5 to 11.
Join two bumbling fools, the pompous Bryan and pompouser Adam, as they stumble and fumble through a Royal Palace and it’s gardens, bumping into foppish Princes and floundering frogs; tripping over wily Witches and bibulous Fairies; and face planting into a petulant Princess and her absent-minded father, the Speechifying Sprinkler (that’s the King to you!). In the words of William Shakespeare: “It is a tale. Told by an idiot.” Suitable for all ages, from three to 300!
Show times: Tuesday, October 6 at 10 am; Wednesday, October 7 at 10 am; Thursday, October 8 at 2 pm; Friday, October 9 at 10 am; Saturday, October 10 at 10 am; and Sunday, October 11 at 2 pm.
After the show, a short workshop will be held on “simple mask making” run by the performers, and at no extra cost. Snacks and juices are on sale.
