DURBAN curator, Carol Brown, has put together a fabulous exhibition for this year’s Hilton Arts Festival, which runs at Hilton College from September 18 to 20.
EYE CANDY … And some stronger stuff, a joint project with the BAT Centre in Durban, came about as a result of Brown’s courses, the Business of Art and Mind The Gap, for artists and curators.

The idea then grew to take a space at the festival, curate their own show as a team and put the lessons learned in the courses into practise. Meetings were held to brainstorm and select works and to introduce new artists and young curators to the process
