“A real crowd-pleaser with stars-in-the-making ready to shoot off into the stratosphere. And it’s a thrilling merry-go-round of a musical that ticks all the boxes.Candida Mosoma as Deloris Van Cartier, making magical music while claiming the Mandela stage as her own. It’s the voice and then she adds the strut and the star quality. Musically and choreographically, all step in time as director Janice Honeyman marches her soldiers through this one with a huge smile”. – Diane de Beer, Star Tonight

“An all-round class act.it is the music that makes this show such a glorious success.the sets are simply spectacular.the lighting is spot-on, as are the costumes.the brilliant Kate Normington gives an immaculate performance as Mother Superior. It is Candida Mosoma, though, who brings it all together with her magnificent voice.reminding us all that we are in the habit of making great entertainment that rivals the best in the world”. – Gayle Edmunds, City Press
