Daphne Kuhn presents, by arrangement with Whacked Entertainment Management, comedy legend Mark Banks in Still Banksrupt … it’s just common cents.
South African comedy legend Mark Banks is back – and this time he is going for broke in his new one-man comedy, Still Banksrupt to be staged for two weeks only at Sandton’s Auto & General Theatre on the Square from June 30 to July 11.
Still Banksrupt is his updated look at life in South Africa – the follow-up production of his popular 2013 show Banksrupt. It incorporates stand-up, sketch and video.
“The title is about where we are as a nation – we’re broke – financially, morally and mentally. I want to sketch out the villains behind this sorry state we’re in, obviously with a tongue in cheek flavour, to keep it pertinent and interesting,” says Banks.
